About the role
Responsibilities: Trade Execution &
Management:
Execute forex trades accurately and efficiently across major, minor, and exotic currency pairs using our trading platforms. Manage and monitor open positions, ensuring adherence to predefined risk limits and stop-loss strategies. Assist in managing the company’s small personal funds with the highest level of discipline and capital preservation. Market Analysis &
Research:
Conduct in-depth technical analysis (chart patterns, indicators, support/resistance) to identify high-probability entry and exit points. Perform fundamental analysis by tracking macroeconomic data releases (e.g., interest rate decisions, GDP, NFP, CPI) and geopolitical events Interpret real-time economic calendars and central bank communications to anticipate market volatility.
News & Signal Monitoring:
Continuously monitor global financial news sources (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg, ForexFactory) during market hours (Asian, London, and New York sessions) Evaluate and filter trade signals from various sources to determine their viability for the company’s strategy Provide real-time market updates and actionable trade recommendations to management.
Risk Management:
Strictly adhere to the company’s risk management protocols and position sizing rules. Calculate and adjust lot sizes based on account equity and volatility Report any unusual market activity or system anomalies immediately.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain a detailed trade journal with entries, exits, rationale, and outcomes Prepare daily and weekly performance reports, including P&L analysis, win/loss ratios, and drawdown metrics. Present market outlooks and strategy proposals to the investment team.
Requirements:
Proven Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of active, profitable forex trading experience (own account or proprietary firm). Proven track record is mandatory
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of MetaTrader 4/5 (MT4/MT5) or similar trading platforms. Strong proficiency in technical analysis tools (Fibonacci, moving averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, etc.) Solid understanding of fundamental analysis and its impact on currency markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications (e.g., CISI, CFTe, or similar) Experience with algorithmic trading or scripting (e.g., MQL4/5) is a plus. Knowledge of portfolio management and hedging strategies.
Soft Skills:
High level of discipline, patience, and emotional control under pressure. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team.
