Network Cable & CCTV Installation Technician

Responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test network cables (Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber Optics). Install and configure IP CCTV cameras, NVRs, and PoE switches. Perform cable routing (conduit, trunking, and tray) neatly and professionally. Conduct site surveys and provide technical input for installations. Troubleshoot network connectivity and CCTV-related issues. Label and document all installed systems according to company standards. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on all project sites. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in network cabling and IP CCTV installation. Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems and cable management best practices. Experience working with PoE switches and basic networking concepts. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Familiarity with tools such as cable testers, crimping tools, and fusion splicers (for fibre). Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in networking (e.g., CCNA) is an advantage. Experience working on multi-floor or large-scale installations. Basic knowledge of access control or other ELV systems is a plus.
